I really enjoyed working with this couple and their family.  They had a great sense of humor and the groom just made me laugh.  He is a comedian.  The weather had not turned bitter yet so they had a really nice November wedding.  The Church was down by the Plaza area and had  nice old feel to it.

Usually highlight videos capture the day unfolding but I chose to recap the ceremony seperately from the reception.  The moods where different and I didn’t want to lose that intimate setting so I created two highlight videos to capture both moods.  I think it came out good and I hope the couple does as well :)

Are you considering a videographer for you wedding?  Here is what every bride needs to know about videographer.

Pondering over the “Official Wedding Season”?

Lately I’ve been asked, “when does the wedding season start?”.  I’ve been pondering about that question all week and here are some of my thoughts on the subject?

Traditionally Springtime is the time of year when people like to get married as Spring is symbolic of a new beginning.  After all, isn’t that when all the flowers start to bloom?   Weddings take place alot in the early summer as well and I often see alot of weddings pick up towards the end of summer.

My official answer to this question is that the wedding season is an all year event and here’s why.  No matter when a couple plans a wedding there usually is 6-9 months of hard planning prior to the big day.  If clusters of couples are getting married in Spring, early summer, and winter; then that means planning is taking place all year long.

Traditionally most brides want to be married in early Spring and early Summer.  It’s best to start the planning a year in advance if that’s when you plan to have it.  The bottom line is don’t worry about when the wedding season starts or ends.  Plan your wedding on your date and it with good planning it will all fall into place.
